Co-Coach, Mick McInnes said it was once again a difficult selection process cutting the group from 49 to 25 but is very happy with the final list. Mick who is from Echuca, will coach the NCWL Interleague side together with John Wilson from Shepparton again for the second year running and will add the expertise of Kerang’s Ash Wise who has come on board to as assistant coach for 2019. “It was so great to have so much depth to pick from again in this year’s initial squad, we feel we’ve got some wonderful talent to showcase women’s football in our region and look forward to an exciting clash with CVFLW” said Mick.
