AFL Goulburn Murray have released their 2019 – 2022 strategic plan for following the completion of their previous plan.
Chairperson of the Goulburn Murray Commission Peter Foott commended the work done on the previous plan and looked forward to continuing the great work especially on the updated priorities.
“The Strategic Plan is a significant body of work for our commission and provides the framework which will now drive our agenda for the next four years” Foott said.
“The Plan identifies the key Strategic Priorities of Participation, Community, Engagement, Fan Development, Talent, Facilities, People & Culture and Sustainability.”
“Key Objectives for each Strategic Priority have also been identified and will provide guidance and direction for our future activities.”
“The Commission and also AFL GM Staff will annually review the Plan to track progress and also to ensure it remains current and relevant to the needs of the region.”
Region General Manager Jamie Macri expressed his enthusiasm in getting into this next phase of the strategic plan.
“The staff at AFL GM have worked hard and sort feedback from stakeholders to identify priorities and direction of the region moving forward.”
“We also make sure we follow the AFL values of ‘Play to Win’, ‘Play with Passion’, ‘Play Fair’ and ‘Play as one Team’.”
