VCFL Board Member since 2001 and President since 2004. Former Committee Member at Echuca FNC, Moama FNC and Barham FNC. Audit Chairman at Echuca Workers and Services Club.

Peter Foott


Owner of Peter Foott Waste Collection also involved with family transport company providing daily newspapers. Major Sponsor of GVFUA. Played 350 games, plus 20 interleague representative games. U19’s Richmond, Oakleigh and played in the SANFL, GVFL and MFL. GVFL Morrison Medallist.

Peter Nelson


Public accountant (CPA Australia) based in Kyabram and operating throughout the Goulburn Murray region.

Lifetime involvement in Football and other sports as a Player,Umpire,Delegate and Administrator with GVFL and district clubs.

Involved in many community activities and local committees.

Nick Nagle


Executive Officer at Goulburn Valley Waste and Resource Recovery Group who he has been with for 14 years.

Played for Rennie (Coreen & District League), Corowa Rutherglen (O&M League), Shepparton Swans (GVFL) and Dookie United (CGFL & PDFL). Former PDFNL executive member. Father of 3 with family farming interests in Southern Riverina.

Greg Freer


Employed at Freer’s Panel Works 32 years, Owner/ Manager 15 years, sold business 2012. Past President Mooroopna Lawn Tennis Club. Umpire for the GVFUA 18 years, 4 years Committee Member , Life Member, Interleague Umpire. Mooroopna FNC President 4 years. Committee Police Blue Ribbon Foundation

Andrew Chittick


Projects Delivery Manager at Aquatec Fluid Systems

22 year’s experience in Civil engineering industry. Former President Kyabram District FNL for 4 years. Various positions held at Stanhope FNC including President, Secretary, Vice and Junior Vice President

Geraldine Christou


Director Sustainable Development at Greater Shepparton City Council, responsible for the building, planning, environment, economic development, tourism and events departments. 

Board member of Goulburn River Valley Tourism, La Trobe Regional Advisory Board and Shepparton Show Me.  Passionate about the community in which we live and the role that sport plays in driving social and economic outcomes for our region. Mother of two adult sons playing football in the KDFNL.

Chris Thomas


A consultant in community development and dairy industry, particularly in the people development area, after long service for dairy companies in managing milk supply, field service and rural finance.

Is a Life Member of SDJFL, Echuca Junior Football Club and Meadows Football Club SA, following several years  in positions of coaching and administration, predominantly in development of junior and female football, and is a recipient of the Merit Award for AFL Victoria.
