Footy Feud Driving Junior Game Development Whilst Furthering Numeracy

AFL Goulburn Murray has secured a new partnership with Footy Feud, an Australian football themed-card game.

To kick off the partnership, all Seymour District Junior Football Netball League clubs will receive a pack of the game for their Under 10 and Under 12 teams to award as they see fit on a game between now and the end of the 2018 season.

AFL Goulburn Murray Commercial & Marketing Officer, Tegan Fairley, sees the partnership as a great way to link footy and academic development.

“Footy Feud is taking the school world by storm at the moment”, she said.

“As a footy themed game, it promotes fun and engagements as well as developing the numeracy skills of players.”

“By bringing together footy fun and numeracy skills, the game is a great way for children to engage in our great game whilst adding to their academic performance”.

“As well as providing awards as prizes, the packs will be available to purchase from our office at the recommended retail price of $15.00.

What is Footy Feud?

  • Footy Feud is an AFL-themed card game, loved by kids for being fun and easy to learn (…and also by parents for improving numeracy skills).
  • The cards are worth different footy scores, while rare FEUD CARDS deliver BIG twists to ensure no two games are ever the same.
  • Whoever has the highest score at the end of the four quarters wins.
