McDonalds Partnering With AFL GM For Kids Game Of The Month Initiative

AFL Goulburn Murray has secured a new partnership with McDonalds Shepparton & Mooroopna for a brand-new initiative set to take place across five games in 2019.

To be known as the McDonalds Kids Game of the Month, AFL Goulburn Murray will lead five fun filled days with plenty of activities and games for the kids – three at Goulburn Valley League games and two at Kyabram District Football Netball Club games throughout the 2019 season.

Whilst the set dates and games are yet to be determined, what is guaranteed is an AFL GM and McDonalds Shepparton & Mooroopna Activity Booklet that will be free of charge for children packed with activities to keep them occupied at the football and netball all day.

AFL GM’s giant inflatables will also be at the McDonalds Kids Game of the Month along with Handball Targets and a half time Auskick game.

Aimed at children aged between 5-12, AFL GM’s Commercial and Marketing Officer Tegan Fairley is excited and sees the partnership as a great way to link local football and netball with increased physical activity and children’s engagement.

“We are absolutely stoked to have McDonalds Shepparton and Mooroopna on board for this new and exciting initiative. When discussing the new idea with them, they were just as enthused with the concept and wanted to help it along.”

Following the announcement of this partnership today, more details on the five events next year will follow after the 2018 season officially concludes.
